Within a few days Julien is finally gonna turn into a ridiculously large pigeon. I've been building up to this since I apped him and am excited! The bulk of the final changes happen over the course of a couple of hours. Buildup for the days before that is basically hunger, lethargy, breaking out in pinfeathers, and brief periods of facial paralysis.

On Friday or Saturday Julien's making a network post complaining of chest pains and an inability to stand. Birdification will soon follow, and on Monday he will fly off and refuse to talk to anyone for I'm not sure how long. Does anyone want to participate? If someone stays with him after the change they'll have to help him eat and he will become uncommunicative, and he'll really need someone to find or catch him after he runs away, who can try and persuade him to stop and come back. Warning, if someone wants to thread the change it will be body horror.

He's also left a letter in his room at the Hotel Lillie for people to see on the event of him losing his number, in which he confesses that his preincarnation's lifespan isn't all that long, which someone might read. Any takers?

Yeah. >< It's at least gentler than the bird transformation in Dr Franklin's Island, a book I can't say hasn't influenced me here, but that's only saying so much.

Oh goodness, poor birdman. I actually just played Hatoful Boyfriend for the first time which resulted in very confusing feelings about pigeons why is that game so good I don't understand it.

I don't think Julien will be willing to talk to people for a while conveniently dovetailing with how I've been in classes this week, but after!

Aww you did? Awesome! It's a very good game. The creator actually did set out to make a game with a ridiculous alienating premise that could really absorb anyone who kept at it. Have you considered playing the sequel?

That is understandable, if he bros it up with Torin he and Tony may cross paths. He knows the birdman pretty well. But yes, life man, it is the most important even if it eats up precious rp drive.

It was really surprising because I was expecting something light-hearted and stupid. And then I was sucked in it was too late.

XD Did you get all the endings? There's a Gallery that shows the final card for each one you've seen, and if you've seen them all there is an epilogue to Bad Boy's Love.

Sure is! And some manga. You end up paying 4-5 dollars. Though it's not reformatted like the Steam release was, it doesn't run on most Macs and there are some common technical issues on Windows.

I did get all the endings! Now if I'm understanding right the fulfill a promise is the 'canon' ending right? I mean it's kind of hard to tell of course all the silliness you go through to get there.

Oohhhh even so, I may just have to play it. I got weirdly addicted to this silly and surprisingly deep story.

There's no real "canon" ending. Details from each are canon - including Okosan being the reincarnation of a god - but the 'real' end is whichever you want, more or less. Holiday Star takes place in some other branching. That game does have some shorts and features taking place in an AU where Nageki never died and Hitori's still going by his own name, though.

If you've got Windows don't forget to google "hatoful boyfriend error" if things come up! There are some pages about the common problems and how to resolve them.

So who's your favorite bird? also, if you if you want some of the manga is up for free. Most of it, save chapter twelve, is almost completely on the silly side.

Man I'm torn, I think Nageki was my favorite arc aside from the promise ending, but Angheal was hilarigreat. Just, shine on you crazy angel bird. Also, I have a weakness for well-written brothers. Too much liking to pick just one!

Nageki's got a really big role in the next game, near the end! I thought he was my favorite, but Yuuya went and stole my heart in Holiday Star. I'm fond of them all though! It always makes me happy to hear new people are playing. :)

Nageki is so cute, sad little dove. Yuuya is great and like I said I have so many feelings for brothers. He and Sakuya man. I'm going to have to play this sequel it's bound to be great!
