Hello everyone, my name is The Guindo and I am coming to you with that roommate Alex keeps mentioning.

This is Ravindra Savarna, an OC. He is basically Socially Awkward Penguin. One of those shy, self-conscious, introverted, socially anxious types. Also stubborn and passive-aggressive, so that's fun.

He is formerly a Templar/paladin of a crystal-dragon-jesus religion who abandoned his god and country after a surprise military operation resulted in the loss of his friends and family. Thanks for the betrayal, country he used to love! Anyway that means he is a holy type and will eventually have the power to magically heal others. Heard y'all were lacking in that particular area.

In this incarnation, Ravi is a combat medic turned RN who works night shifts at the university hospital's ER. He is Alexander Varista's roommate and best bro; if you know Alex, you may know him as 'Vin.' He will be very quick to correct you. That also makes him Gomez/Arhu's roommate! Come to me, kitty-teenager!

There's potential for pre-existing CR in the fact that he is ex-Army, stationed at Ft Turner with two Iraq deployments, and also in that he got his nursing degree from LCU. There's a timeline on his info post if you want to check whether the timing lines up for CR.

I do not have a plurk (gasp!), but I am very easy to get ahold of. Anyways, CR wise, Shou tends to end up in the ER on a fairly regular basis. Depending on what kind of mood he's in and the level of alcohol he's drinking, he can be a sweetheart that flirts, a total rage machine that wants out, or trying to sleep on any available surface he can get.

Ahaha oh man an ER regular, yes, good.

He has patients flirt with him a lot, actually! Just...it's usually harmless little old ladies. It's not quite as easy to brush off when it's coming from a cute guy who's actually in a dateable age range. He'd remain professional but would definitely get flustered and SUPER AWKWARD.

He probably prefers the "sleep anywhere" version, that one's easiest to deal with 8|b

Shou will press his advantage with the flirting - and he won't say no to having the doctor say yes after work, if that's the way things go. He just likes people in general. The raging is not a good thing since he usually is raging from a breakup or getting his car smashed - which is his usual reason why he's in the ER in the first place. The sleeping bit is probably also a lott of the clueless cute stage of his moods too.

shou y u do dis. Ravi never accepts, un(?)fortunately, bc that is Highly Inappropriate. All Shou gets is nervous laughter and awkward deflections. But I mean obviously the fact that it flusters him just means it's fun to keep doing it, amirite?

Dealing with rage-Shou is less pleasant but probably easier. Angry patients! He understands that! Is it physical lashing out (trying to hit the staff etc) or verbal?

Yes, that will make him want to flirt more :3

He won't hit a woman, and he is more likely to stand up to someone and try to stare them down while speaking in a very controlled voice. Unfortunately for most people, he will be talking in Japanese. And if he makes someone flinch, he will try to take them out and he can hit hard. Most likely he will try to break the equipment first then snarl at the people. If he can get calmed down before he gets into a rage, he'll go immediately into the sleepy stage.

Welp, zero understanding of Japanese 8D But Ravi would handle him in that state by trying to stay outwardly calm and level, and politely repeating requests until Shou either complied or exploded. Basically he knows that if you get angry back, you escalate, so he'd be trying to de-escalate.

(if only he could figure out this tactic for his personal life.)

That would probably work the best since Shou would have to calm down to recall English and then he'll get sheepish and all 'i don't mean any harm' then try to lean on him.
