Plot post for (late) July 11th

It's been quiet, hasn't it? That's about to change.

Basically, the next week or two is not going to be directly outlined this time, given there's about fifteen different things that chosen characters will experience or run into over the next while; how things are handled from here depends on how the characters react.

Some of you may have special instructions about plotting, but for those of you who are free to share, you're welcome to discuss here. As a side note, we won't be ruthlessly hunting down anyone who accidentally spills the beans on something or whatever, but the "please" does stay in place.

General plotting is encouraged as well, and as always, please direct questions for the mods to the specified thread below and not the post in general.

Meanwhile, bear in mind that from the time this month's strange experiences start onwards, the Locke City police department will be on the active lookout for suspicious public behavior! (Feel free to have characters in law enforcement pick up on this fact, by the way!)

Entirely needless to say, I still offer Anthony, but for Shawn, with a penchant for wandering about the city after hours and collecting scrap metal, I'll offer him as a prospect for some sort of encounter, too!

She does still have to meet Anthony sometime. What's he been doing since going all corpsified and stuff?

And for Shawn, I never played his game so I don't know that canon but I could see them running into each other. Also, if he knows metal he could be pretty useful to her when her Allomancy powers start coming back.

Answer to your inquiry: mostly hiding. It appears that as of earlier this month he's been taking shelter with Bakura's family - but from early June until that point he'd been spending his days assisting out of the way at the LSR Clinic and his evenings holing up or moving discreetly without straying far in the Dead District, if perhaps some sort of backdated run-in would be a simpler place to start. XD

And as for Shawn I thought that might be a prospect~ His interest in metal is for the sake of abstract arts and crafts projects which he both executes and stashes outside. I'd be rather open to anything of his let's say being looted to initiate something less-amicably, the two of them becoming aware of each others' interests and somewhat cooperatively scavenging, or anything else as you see fit!

They can run into each other. I imagine Vanessa will freak out pretty hard at first but will chill out a little when she figures out he's not actually a rotting corpse. That said, if he got himself into trouble or something around the Dead District area she could probably help him out. Maybe show him the ropes of getting by without a home or something, or just give him a place to sleep for a night because that poor kid, jeez.

Vanessa probably wouldn't be scavenging metal from outside, because the metal she uses needs to be within a certain range of purity to be effective. Also, cause she swallows it to use it and ew.

Still, they could at least run into each other and maybe compare notes or something.

Pah, I'm late responding to this as due again, but I do think Anthony would be much obliged to that - and, since whatever Bakura and his family attempt to do about his living situation he'll likely be excusing himself from non-reincarnate company again when he reaches the eyes-glazed-over stage if not sooner, I expect he'd be grateful to have her as a connection as it were.
