Plot post for (late) July 11th
It's been quiet, hasn't it? That's about to change.
Everyone who signed up here will be getting a super-special PM from us soon- PLEASE CHECK YOUR MESSAGES ON THE ACCOUNT YOU REPLIED WITH.
PMs status: All sent. If you signed up and did not receive a PM, please check first doubly, then contact us.
Basically, the next week or two is not going to be directly outlined this time, given there's about fifteen different things that chosen characters will experience or run into over the next while; how things are handled from here depends on how the characters react.
Some of you may have special instructions about plotting, but for those of you who are free to share, you're welcome to discuss here. As a side note, we won't be ruthlessly hunting down anyone who accidentally spills the beans on something or whatever, but the "please" does stay in place.
General plotting is encouraged as well, and as always, please direct questions for the mods to the specified thread below and not the post in general.
Meanwhile, bear in mind that from the time this month's strange experiences start onwards, the Locke City police department will be on the active lookout for suspicious public behavior! (Feel free to have characters in law enforcement pick up on this fact, by the way!)

I'd think she has a fairly decent memory for faces so she'd probably recognize him if they got to talking. She's also just getting out of the whole life of crime gig too, trying to go straight and all so there's that angle if you want to work it in somehow.
Yeah, I keep meaning to put up an open post or something for her. It's a little tough to get her to meet other characters since she's being all stubborn about video posts, but that'll probably change after the fungus attack.

XD Riku's totally trying that on roomie. Not working. So yeah, he'd probably help out if he could/knew! c: How is she trying to go straight? E.g. got a job already? etc.
Haha Riku usually just hits other characters too, so I know the feeling. I think action/log posts work, though, and they're all in the same comm anyway. :)

Well, right now Vanessa's got a fake identity where she has a job she's working with the hopes of being able to get out of town. Her first Echo hit when she was running from a cop and since it was a memory of getting chased and nearly killed by this thing she kind of flipped out and shoved him off a fire escape. So now she's a little in debt to mobsters and may have some serious trouble with the law coming her way eventually. It's kind of an awful situation all around, really.

....So I keep thinking "are those smarties in his eyes??" but yes, wtf is that, Vanessa. XD That does sound pretty awful, yeah. DX I don't know how Riku could help in that, but he'd probably be supportive of her rehab in nothing else ,since he had to undergo a pretty dramatic cleaning up period, himself.

No, no. Those would be the heads of iron spikes driven through his eyes and out the back of his skull. They are quite terrifying.
Well, she wouldn't necessarily be rehabing since she never did drugs, but a little sympathy and support might be helpful in its own way. She's going to have even bigger problems soon enough anyway, I'd imagine.

And ah I didn't mean it that way. I meant that in general he supports reformation/starting afresh. xD But yes that would seem the case.
