+1 detective!

Hi everyone! I'm Bri, and I'm brand new here. I've never played in an AU game before, but I've been stalking this one a bit and I'm really excited to play here!

I'm bringing in Nick Burkhardt from Grimm! In his old life, he was a homicide detective who was also a descendant of the original brothers Grimm. Grimms are basically assassins, people who have the ability to see the fairy tale creatures called Wesen that hide from everyone else, and then hunt down and kill them. Nick himself prefers to arrest them, and only go after the criminal ones, which apparently makes him the odd man out among his ancestors.

Here in Locke City, Nick is also a homicide detective! But this time he's boring, with no Wesen-hunting activities on the side. He's been here for a few years, so if there's any other police officers, or anyone who might have had dealings with the police (either through being arrested, being an informant or witness, anything) who want existing CR, that'd be awesome! And of course there's the usual cousins and neighbors and such that'd be great, too!

Eeeep in that case, yeah, you might not want to watch it. Each episode of Grimm is more or less based on a fairy tale, so if the folktale thing is what gets you, it might be best to avoid it.

A lot of my friends have played it, and told me all about it! And I used to play with a Kairi and a Riku. In the beginning, Nick is going to be super in denial about any police involvement, so low key is really good, since he doesn't want anyone on the force to know what he's up to. xD it does! But Nick has a history of awesome sidekicks, so it works for him.

Sob, I like fairytales but I hated the bloody mary stuff and such. ;A; Like fantasy horror is ok, everyday horror not so much. >A<

Ohh I see! xD Haha, awesome, then that works out~ Just don't call him robin and you're all good! I shalt try to hit a post (do you have one? >.>) when it happens and hopefully they'll get some kind of CR from that. xD Not planning on any open posts for Riku until the late 20s, I think. @A@

Oh, man, bloody mary. That episode even gets me a little. Grimm's mostly fantasy horror, but there's definitely some every day elements, with crime scenes and all. It might be best to give it a pass, then, as awesome as it is.

Nick will try to resist the urge! It might be hard as he gets more of his memories, though, he's kind of a troll in canon. xD I don't have one yet, but I'm going to put up his intro either tonight or tomorrow, so one will be up soon!

Call him Robin one too many times and he will find a way to photoshop a photo of you wearing your underpants on the outside, Nick. :| HE MEAN BUSINESS. Or just snark back. xD Troll away, Riku's already living with one, so he's kinda used to it. XD Awesome~

Yeah, it's starting to be hugely popular. But! I asked a friend who also couldn't sleep after season 1 of Supernatural, and she says season 1 of Grimm is a million times less scary, so there's that!

xD Oh, man, this is going to be fun. Nick loves snark and that kind of stuff, so yes! I'm excited.
