thank god they get new names here--aragorn II elessar telcontar is a ridiculous mouthful

Hi guys! I'm Krystal, and I'll be playing Aragorn from J.R.R. Tolkien's The Lord of the Rings.

Only here his name is Dr. Aaron Strider, long-lost heir of nothing in particular. He's an ex-Army doc who left the military as soon as he'd paid his medschool debt, traveled around for a while, then came to this city and opened up the LSR Clinic by the Dead District. It's pretty sketchy, since he mainly treats people without insurance/who couldn't pay for anything better. Strider does damn good work, even if it's not as well-supplied as he'd like it to be. Basically it's a charity, but he's had a hard time finding people to donate to it, so he sells weed on the side to cover supplies/operating costs. Hence his username. Yes, of course I take my characters seriously.

He's not nearly as creepy as he seems, I promise.

Anyway! I'm very excited to be here! Please do friend me on Plurk at [plurk.com profile] spartabitch because I would love to chat/plot with all of you! And if you think your character would know Aaron, whether from the army or association with the city's poor, I'm 100% up for hashing out shared backstory.

...on an EXTREMELY RELEVANT note, Casval is highly mentally unstable and that healing plant of his actually might help him out a lot from the sounds of it (perhaps a potential reason to keep in the heroic saving the earth category rather than going down the irreparable, irredeemable villain route later on). Also he's inclined towards inhaling questionable substances, anyway. As mentioned.

I don't know how open he'll be to admitting to someone else that he uh, needs help a lot, but it's something to keep in mind to build CR off of in the future.

So did I mention that Full Frontal's mind has the malevolent outside influence of a man's memories who literally despaired himself to death? Because yeah. That happened. I'm not exaggerating. Char Aznable was literally so anguished his soul lived on after his body went poof, someone found it, put it in a human vessel, and... bam. Full Frontal was born. Casval himself is also manic depressive to a pretty extreme degree.

So yeah, definitely seeing a lot of potential here and putting it on the dock. I can already smell the drama and it is glorious.
