Evening, all you fine folks at this brand spanking new game. I'm Liv, and I've brought you not your first, nay, but your second sparkly zombie vampire werewolf quasi-historical samurai. His name is Toshizou Hijikata, although his reincarnation is named Toshirou Katase.

Please don't call him Toshi, because he will punch you in the teeth.

He's a 25 year old high school dropout who runs an inter-city shipping company. He'll deliver anything from furniture to groceries to medical supplies to live animals to boxes of things you're trying to get to your dorm room without your parents seeing.

You know what things.

He's surly, he chain smokes, and he swears in ways that would make a sailor blush. Deep down he's a good guy, though, and if you do right by him he'll have your back when push comes to shove.

In spite of dropping out in the 10th grade, he actually largely regrets not being able to finish his education and whenever he's got some time off he can usually be found in the back of the local library.

If anyone fancies some shogi or chess, bring a case of beer and he's on board. :')

I'm Fran, I play this complex bundle who is not just Bakura Ryou, but Yami Bakura and Thief King Bakura all wrapped up into one all but bipolar 16 year old with massive issues. Who still loves games and is confident he can kick anyone's ass in chess. Because GAMES.

Toshi might have a few reserves about hanging out with kids 10 years his junior, but I'm sure we can work something out! :D I also know complete jack-all about Yu-gi-oh (did I even spell that right? I know, I know, I was abducted by aliens for the entire duration of the 90s okay) but I've bee assured it's very respectable and good.

There's a raging debate amongst fans who have too much time on their hands as to the spelling. My lazy butt spells it Yuugiou because screw dashes :D (also, screw that romanazation, but that's a lost battle :) )

Basically this kid is 1 part mega nerd boy who loves games and friendship, 1 part revenge spirit out to get all the magical ancient Egyptian bling to gain the power of the dark god Zork and basically fuck up the world, and 1 part the self proclaimed king of thieves from 3,000 years back that woke up that dark god in the first place and later kinda sorta not really it's complicated became that revenge spirit. Kinda a powder keg waiting for the right target to explode on :D

To be fair, in canon, they're 3 separate people. (In theory. Thief King and Yami Bakura are kinda sorta not really the same person in a way? It's never really explained too well) But yeah, YGO is... uh... kinda batshit. And surprisingly hardcore for a series about friendship and games.
