Evening, all you fine folks at this brand spanking new game. I'm Liv, and I've brought you not your first, nay, but your second sparkly zombie vampire werewolf quasi-historical samurai. His name is Toshizou Hijikata, although his reincarnation is named Toshirou Katase.

Please don't call him Toshi, because he will punch you in the teeth.

He's a 25 year old high school dropout who runs an inter-city shipping company. He'll deliver anything from furniture to groceries to medical supplies to live animals to boxes of things you're trying to get to your dorm room without your parents seeing.

You know what things.

He's surly, he chain smokes, and he swears in ways that would make a sailor blush. Deep down he's a good guy, though, and if you do right by him he'll have your back when push comes to shove.

In spite of dropping out in the 10th grade, he actually largely regrets not being able to finish his education and whenever he's got some time off he can usually be found in the back of the local library.

If anyone fancies some shogi or chess, bring a case of beer and he's on board. :')

There's a raging debate amongst fans who have too much time on their hands as to the spelling. My lazy butt spells it Yuugiou because screw dashes :D (also, screw that romanazation, but that's a lost battle :) )

Basically this kid is 1 part mega nerd boy who loves games and friendship, 1 part revenge spirit out to get all the magical ancient Egyptian bling to gain the power of the dark god Zork and basically fuck up the world, and 1 part the self proclaimed king of thieves from 3,000 years back that woke up that dark god in the first place and later kinda sorta not really it's complicated became that revenge spirit. Kinda a powder keg waiting for the right target to explode on :D

Werewolf lore in his 'verse means he's immortal, technically undead (but it's so RUDE to say it like that!), silver is indeed a bad thing to him, and he can only use his most of supernatural abilities (shapechanging, supernatural strength/speed) while at night. The super-nose and hearing are forever though :D

So yes, fearing silver will be a thing!

Hello, Liv! I am Joysweeper!

I have here Yuuya/Julien, flirty gregarious pigeon spy with a blackmailable heart of gold / flirty gregarious college grad loyal to his folks but otherwise pretty aimless. He's obviously had a rather cushier life than Toshirou, but he's also really really social, good-natured, and put off by very few things.

And he's kind of been bouncing from job to job here for almost a year. At the very least he'd have come around considering working there, but I think he'd have found an offer which required less physical effort.

I'm Airdra, and I play the game's other Hajime! He is a Kamen Rider, immortal bug monster, and right now he and his family run a Japanese restaurant. He's also going to be totally unaffected by Toushirou's surliness because he can dish out his own, heh.

Ohhh Blade! I only saw a few eps of that, unfortunately. I got really confused, couldn't tell half the protagonists apart, and then ran back to OOOs in short order. Always good to see more Kamen Rider out and about though!

The problem with Blade is that the copies out now are pretty terrible video-quality wise (not like icon making is suffering or anything sob), and that the first 10 or so episodes are really uneven regardless of video quality. It gets much better once they figure out what they're doing. (And really, I usually don't see many people around who have seen even a little of it, so yay for that!)
