My name's Kalyn and I'm bringing you this really terrible asshole I'm so sorry. I promise I'll bring in a nicer lady next time.

But for now, this is Souji Okita from Hakuouki, though in this AU his name is Souji Sasaoki. He's the guy who most likely bullied the shit out of you character in HS, like stole their lunch money and used it to buy himself candy from the vending machines that he clearly already had enough change for before taking the lunch money (don't worry, Hajime came along later to apologize on his behalf). He's a freshman in college and honestly not much better attitude wise though his bullying has taken another outlet by looking for fights with people in his free time. They make him feel alive.

Really he hates himself a lot and believes he's going no where and is just drifting through life and no matter how hard he tries to convince himself he's okay with that, he's really not.

He's also suffering from tuberculosis (his first Echo, yay!) and working hard to get the money to pay for his medication as he lives on his own now, estranged from his big sis. Everything else you need to know is in his app in his journal!

A N Y W A Y his only friends are really Hajime and Chizuru so he won't consider anyone a friend except them I'M SORRY. However I'm totally up for any other CR and backstory people wanna work out with me. He might be on semi-amicable terms with some people, this is a possibility!

My aim is lordception and my plurk is lighteningflame so add me there! I swear I'm not as terrible as Souji. Maybe....

Souji was the kind of student who'd try to sleep and class or do everything to make himself seem like an idiot and a terrible student but always got As and Bs pretty effortlessly (more Bs than As though because more effort is too much work!!)

God this is funny because literally Souji has caused the echo or pretty much everyone in the Hakuouki cast so I'm totally up for him starting some echoes for people outside it.

I was going to say maybe he stops by the middle school to give Toushirou candy sometimes but then I realized how creepy that sounded.

But Souji gets along really well with kids so I'm sure he'd hang round the middle and elementary schools sometimes and play with kids he maybe babysat/babysits or. something.

he'd be either the worst of best babysitter.

Hey there, I'm Airdra, and I play this totally unrelated Hajime! He used to be a Kamen Rider/horrible bug-monster, but now he's just a guy that helps run his family's Japanese restaurant. He's a few years older than Souji, which is good, otherwise he'd be trying to pick fights with him because bullies annoy him quite a lot. |D

I'm not sure if I want to have him having tried to bully Bakura when he was a freshman because there would have been a conflict/fight/tattling as result since this kid has 3 souls, 2 of them thieves who are big on revenge. :) Your call there.

Oh yeah, I'm Fran, I play Bakura from that one series about card games who's both Bakura Ryou, Yami Bakura and Thief King Bakura all wrapped up in one 16 year old.

Hm! Well, Dr. Strider here can't get his hands on your meds for cheap, but he can do checkups/examinations/write prescriptions for cheap. He runs the LSR Clinic down by the Dead District, and his fees are negotiable. I also love working out backstory CR, so if you want to say Souji's one of Strider's regular patients, I'm down with it!

This works for me! I feel like Souji's been working hard to pay for his utilities and his medicine so maybe he's worked out system of payments to pay off the medicine or something? I know with his echo that the TB just keeps coming back or advancing ahead of where it should be so I'm sure that'd keep him coming back/paying continuously.

Eventually his sister's going to be cutting him off completely and stop paying for his rent and everything and I wanted to pay out that struggle with him trying to support himself AND pay for the medicine (which would also help trigger an echo).

tl;dr YES I AM OKAY WITH THIS. Souji got his echo and his TB back about two months prior to, well, now, so he probably could've visited within a week of realizing something's wrong and seen him? 8|a

It's likely! I don't think Souji would go out of his way to really bully upperclassmen, but he's a lazy genius so they might have shared a class or two maybe? And again in college or smth.

Since Souji doesn't have a direction for his life he's kind of floating around college classes taking a bit of everything so anything's possible.
