My name's Kalyn and I'm bringing you this really terrible asshole I'm so sorry. I promise I'll bring in a nicer lady next time.

But for now, this is Souji Okita from Hakuouki, though in this AU his name is Souji Sasaoki. He's the guy who most likely bullied the shit out of you character in HS, like stole their lunch money and used it to buy himself candy from the vending machines that he clearly already had enough change for before taking the lunch money (don't worry, Hajime came along later to apologize on his behalf). He's a freshman in college and honestly not much better attitude wise though his bullying has taken another outlet by looking for fights with people in his free time. They make him feel alive.

Really he hates himself a lot and believes he's going no where and is just drifting through life and no matter how hard he tries to convince himself he's okay with that, he's really not.

He's also suffering from tuberculosis (his first Echo, yay!) and working hard to get the money to pay for his medication as he lives on his own now, estranged from his big sis. Everything else you need to know is in his app in his journal!

A N Y W A Y his only friends are really Hajime and Chizuru so he won't consider anyone a friend except them I'M SORRY. However I'm totally up for any other CR and backstory people wanna work out with me. He might be on semi-amicable terms with some people, this is a possibility!

This works for me! I feel like Souji's been working hard to pay for his utilities and his medicine so maybe he's worked out system of payments to pay off the medicine or something? I know with his echo that the TB just keeps coming back or advancing ahead of where it should be so I'm sure that'd keep him coming back/paying continuously.

Eventually his sister's going to be cutting him off completely and stop paying for his rent and everything and I wanted to pay out that struggle with him trying to support himself AND pay for the medicine (which would also help trigger an echo).

tl;dr YES I AM OKAY WITH THIS. Souji got his echo and his TB back about two months prior to, well, now, so he probably could've visited within a week of realizing something's wrong and seen him? 8|a

Like I said, Aaron can be talked down if you can't pay -- he doesn't turn anyone away who needs his help. Souji needs to get the medicine from a pharmacy, though, and Aaron won't be able to help with that cost.

He will, however, examine you and your TB and holy shit this is a monster disease, what the fuck is it even doing D8

tl;dr: AWESOME. So he's been seeing Dr. Strider for almost two months. Has the TB been acting normal up until now, or does Strider know that it's an unusually persistent monster strain?

Oh yeah, that's true duh.

I think for the first month and a half it's been progressing at a normal rate and responding to the medication, but in the recent weeks has been coming back stronger so it's def. something Strider's either noticed recently or WILL be noticing recently depending on if you want to thread it out some time or w/e you want!

I'll apologize in advance for vaguely inappropriate come-ons from Souji he can't help himself

Hmm, I'm going to say Aaron noticed it last week? He's changed the medication combination and told Souji to take vitamin D supplements.

....also the good doctor was only surprised and flustered the first time Souji did that. Every time after that, the come-ons were met with snark and professional disinterest.
