Spoilers: Albero is telling the truth. If the Numbered do nothing, Robyn will be released without any further incident this evening. The reincarnates will then be given a short grace period of two weeks to get out of Locke, during which no attacks will take place. Any reincarnates who publically make it look as if they are leaving the city will be left alone during this period.

Unfortunately, people who - for example - involve themselves in a risky rescue attempt will not be granted this temporary amnesty. Not only will they find that the resident damsel in distress is guarded by more than just your typical mafia thugs, but the future ramifications of their actions will be severe.

There are subthreads below for planning the rescue attempt (if any characters will go ahead with it), trying to stop the rescue attempt, and for notifying us if your character will pretend to/leave the city! Feel free to also start your own threads for other purposes. 8|b

Anthony'd be in favor of rescuing - much as he's been discouraged from using them in the past, given the benefits of being already-dead, he'd throw himself in as a possible decoy/distraction if need be. He could be convinced not to go along, but it would take a very reassuring alternate plan!

Additionally if it'd interfere with a second check of the cathedral later this week I'd assume he was dissuaded.

I'm retracting my earlier plans; Winter is going to be interested in a rescue attempt, but a combination of not getting her girlfriend hurt again and a desire to keep her parents safe is going to result in her reluctantly standing down. She will not hinder running operations in any way, and if there's anything she can do to help while not getting involved, she'll do it. If there are such ideas, run them by me here and I can give you an idea of what she can do for you. Which may not be much, unless someone strong wants to go in with a six-inch-thick layer of ice as a tower shield. That, she can happily provide.

After a lot of deliberation, Walter would be in favor of RESCUING. As long as the plan remained sensible and stealth-based! He has a Poncho of Invisibility (which DOES NOT hide the user's shadow) and increased stamina (strength/durability) to offer!

Sheila wants in on a rescue. Sneaky is her skillset, even if she doesn't know it yet. That's what echos are for! But yeah, she's angry enough to go along whether or not she knows she can help.

Alan won't actively try stopping anyone except Octavia from rescue attempts, but he'll come along if it becomes a thing.

Saretha is considering making her point to the would-be rescuers first hand, but it depends on FACTORS.

If Raye is still going to insist on helping with the rescue though , the possibility of her doing as such shoots up dramatically.

Blaine is another case of "if there is a group doing this, she'll join". :|9 She's currently talking to Sho, Saretha and Eugen (who is in Vegas) about it and I think she's in touch with Alan too now so... she's pretty likely to end up doing the thing???

Nick is a terrible person has some insider info on what would be waiting for anyone who might do a rescue attempt, so he'll be keeping an eye on any network rescue plotting.

He'll actively discourage anyone he cares about from participating, and if they can't be convinced, at least warn them about what's coming.

L will strongly advocate anti-rescue planning, even if it kills him a little bit inside. He's still having nightmares about the guy he tried to rescue who wound up dead, and his thought is that if something that carefully planned could go wrong, storming for a forceful mass-rescue won't go well.

Eugen is in the process of talking Blaine and Saretha into forming a group to prevent the rescue since he's physically in Vegas now.

He also called his FBI boss, so the Locke's FBI (and police? idk) will be increasing their patrol since they won't be able to trace Robyn's position.

Question! Eugen will heavily stress to his boss that no rescue should be attempted, so I'll like to know if the FBI boss will be in favor of heading Eugen's advice to help take anyone who try to rush in off the street or if they would attempt to rescue Robyn?

Shou is firmly in this camp. He might not have full insider knowledge, but he does has his other's past memories of being a mob boss and he knows that this has to be a trap. If he has to sit on a few bitties to prevent them from going getting themselves killed, he will.

She'd rather actually leave though.

aka the dwarves (Thorir, Fil, Killian, Hjalti) were planning on going over to check out the mountain in Vegas anyway, and in an attempt to keep his family safe, Thorir'll make it look like it is meant to be for good at least on his part.

They'll ask Danny to check out if there's an actual dragon in the mountain to start the enterprise and then... get in???? idk I think we haven't planned that properly yet.

Anyway there will probably more people tagging along and if anyone wants to join them let's find a way to make that happen. They could randomly talk about it on the network idk? Uh also IF they get into the mountain who knows what will happen but in the long run people will be able to live there??? So that is a thing too.

Winter and Lily are uniquely unable to leave Locke on any permanent basis - finding a new college would be an option, but they just bought a new house within the last month, and it would be difficult to impossible to counteract that decision now; too much has happened. So not only will they not actually be leaving, but I don't even think they could passably give the impression they ever would.

So, uh, I guess I'm tagging to say that there's no way in hell they're leaving, and the mafia is likely to notice when one last bookcase is delivered later in the week.

Okay. So Robyn is currently stuck and chair and it's up to everyone else to either go save her or let her walk out of there alive.

She's kind of freaking out and doesn't really have an opinion on whether she gets saved or not. She just wants out.

On her post she's only got a bit of time to talk before the mobsters take the laptop away from her. So if people want to try and talk to her they can but she might get cut off at some point.

At the same time, if I've thrown cut off a conversation and you want to continue it. Just let me know and I'll delete the comment.
