This post is here for two reasons:

• For returning characters/players to say hi and talk a bit about what their character has been up to while they didn't have numbers, and perhaps figure out how that fits in with other characters

• For everyone to plot endgame things.

State of the character: Ryan has been living a good, calm life with his loving husband, Bertholdt! Though the news and craziness has had them worried sick they've been trying to stay safe... BUT NO MORE!! (I'm actually working on chatting with Nor to see if she wants to join in/come up with anything for their time away so.)
Plans: Just before leaving Ryan echoed back like 70% of his powers so he is TOTALLY COOL with fighting wherever he's needed. idk if they can echo back some more before shit goes down?? But either way he can also help evacuate people since he still has his firefighting experience. Really, he is just down for anything. Bara Dad cannot be stopped.

State of the character: With the clinic closed, Aaron's changed his identity and begun globetrotting. He's been looking around the Echo locations with Liam, trying to nail down where the monsters are, but with no real success. He can be found in London right now, and so can a bunch of ghosts of medieval dead guys. There's going to be an OOC post on this later, but basically, Aaron has echoed back 100 of the ghost soldiers, but none of them will listen to him.
Plans: I'm planning to have Aaron and his small ghost army stand in defense of Locke, fighting off as many of the invaders as they can. I would love for him to team up with anyone else who plans to be in Locke, because he can't fight 100 Darth Vaders alone, not even with mostly-unkillable ghosts.

State of the character: Jack has been living the life of your average stockbroker and otherwise keeping himself uninvolved with all of the global shenanigans. Though things have finally gotten crazy enough that he's starting to think he should call his 'bugman' cousin up to ask if things are okay.... then BOOM, ECHO and he's back for the big finish.
Plans: Jack hadn't left Locke City, and by the time he gets his echoes back he'll still be there, right when the alien invasion hits. So he's going to be in full monster birdman form fighting off things until he is inevitably overwhelmed. If there's anyone else down on the ground doing that, he'll likely dive in and help them. If anyone needs help getting evacuated, he'll help hold off invaders to make it happen. My overall plan is for him to die while defending Locke City, as it's a semi-significant thing for a previously-immortal being to do. Also it's really dramatic and stuff.

State of the character: Misa is currently living in the school Lazarus runs in Locke City, and has been busy working with local newspapers to try to portray the Numbered in a positive light. This month, distractions came in the form of a traumatic echo-train and getting embroiled in a kidnapping situation.
Plans: Misa is going to be heading to Tokyo, where she has an apartment, to argue on behalf of not nuking everything and generally try to keep her hometown safe (despite not being a fighter). She is going to put out an open call for any Numbered heading that way to crash at her place if they need it. It's a one-bedroom apartment with a living room (with couch) and kitchen area; realistically, could fit a maximum of 10 people uncomfortably.

State of the character: Rakka's been doing... pretty good, all things considered. She's been spending time with her girlfriend, Raye, while also dealing with the Doppelgangers that have been trying to cause trouble. She's in Vegas right now, helping Allstar Precure.
Plans: Soon, Rakka will travel down to her homeland of Japan to argue against the nuking of everything. She'll also offer to house her friends at her family's rich estate.

Later, Rakka will be joining the battle to SAVE THE EARTH, which means she'll be fighting alongside her fellow Precure more then likely. Besides that, she'll be up for evacuating people, and providing support where she can. I intend for her to protect Locke at least a little, before going wherever she has to.

State of the character: Cesar has almost completely stayed around Locke for his entire year here, but that doesn't mean he won't travel. He's been mostly been involved in trying to make nanites from info he got from his echos, but his attempt backfired on him, and now the military has used his work to kill politicians opposing the invasion of Brazil! He's also been involved in a subplot involving his and L's doppelgangers, and that plot just finished.

Bottom line: He's fatigued but sharp. He's also probably torn between fixating on the deaths of the politicians and the fact that everything is going to hell.

Plans: I kind of have two ways he could go: One option is that he'll stick around Locke while he can, but start trying to argue for evacuation as soon as it's clear they're overwhelmed. (He'll be pessimistic in this regard, and will probably call this before anyone trying to fight.)

The other option is that he try to communicate with the aliens, and be a part of any group aiming towards that one option where earthlings infiltrate the badguys and confront the leader. He's no fighter, and he can't even talk, but he might have a decidedly unfair advantage when it comes to technology, and could be extremely useful if they had to navigate through locked doors.

State of the character: My beautiful pigeon boy has been adjusting to his final form, and trying his confused best to help with things.
Plans: Man I do not even know. Julien has hacking and espionage skills, he's also excellent at flight, and people tend to trust him. Evacuation or scouting seems good? But one of the first things he's doing is opening the glass thing he had put over the Christmas Island mushroom, which is unharmed.

Plans: She will echo back an X-wing starfighter and be thrilled by it despite all the other stuff going on too. Could also echo a smaller armed starship and a larger unarmed one if anyone wants to do anything with that!

Sorry. No promises, Aaron. ...honestly I don't know what he'll be doing yet but if he takes after Yuuya there'll be a scene where he tries to save someone and has to be saved himself.

State of the character: Phillip has been off-network since late November, going to school and doing normal kid things and being on soccer and in plays, but he has also been refusing to be mean to the Numbered and continued to bother Toushirou off screen at school all the time.
Plans: Phillip will probably be highly involved in the fighting- he's immortal, basically, and can turn into a giant monster so it would be kind of silly if he didn't help with that. He's likely to stick around the people he knows and get direction from people who... actually know what's going on.

State of the character: Following the mafia's grisly murder of his family, Danny has dropped out of school and become homeless. Right now he lives with Stefan Alesci and doesn't do much beyond superheroing every now and then. He's still tied to Locke (home sweet home) but less so than before--it's not like he's got anywhere to be, after all.
Plans: He's basically up to full power now, which is an absurd amount of power. He now also has duplication powers, so he might split up: the 'real' him fighting on the front lines, while his duplicate helps out with evacuation efforts/intangibling people from death. Plus, he also has a doppelganger so potentially THERE COULD BE FOUR DANNYS RUNNING AROUND....

He'll likely be around in Locke, possibly Vegas. His doppelganger will probably be doing the same in Neuschwanstein. Both of them can also go up into space to help battle incoming forces there.

BASICALLY. DANNY IS VERY FLEXIBLE AND I AM OPEN TO ANYTHING.

State of the character: So apparently now Jovan's got some cult worshippers after having to overturn his death certificate. Also he's got a massive power upgrade that lets him basically materialize whatever he fuckin' wants out of thin air, assuming he can hold it in his arms.
Plans: He's tied to Vegas, and his doppelganger to Locke or Neuschwanstein, so that's where they'll be. He'll likely be on evacuation efforts because he's a weenie scaredy cat who, even if he can make a gun with infinite ammo, would be too scared to use it on anyone.

He might also be on "weapon standby" for people, just materializing weapons and ammo for people as needed in case anyone doesn't have anything or they run out. So if you'll be in those cities and you think that might be something you want, let me know!

State of the character: Arnold's mostly based in Locke, but he's horribly, horribly fond of the Teleporters and can go anywhere. Also, he's filthy rich with a private plane and chopper and a limo so you know. He can go places. He's adopted his dopple and the two of thing behave like very weird twins and Arnold is going to be must upset when Benedict loses his mind lol. OTHERWISE he's just. bumming around. Geeking out at things. Giving terrible echoes to his son and the reincarnation of his dad.
Plans: how much Arnold helps will depend how much I can get back with echoes first lol BUT AT THE LEAST he will be able to smooth the way with authorities that need cash greasing. cough. I don't know. point me places

State of the character: Lazarus is in a constant state of recovering and preparing, and he's gotten the hang of those two things overlapping rather nicely. A subplot involving his and Cesar's doppelgangers just wrapped up, and in addition to keeping his ragtag little crew of castmates and close CR as safe as he possibly can, he's helping Shou with their combined funds and connections to get started early on, ensuring that the Numbered will be well-supplied in the coming future.
Plans: Lazarus wants to do everything, but no character can be 82 places at once. He wants to go to Japan and attempt to reason with authorities there in an attempt to get them to not attack the Kappa, but circumstances will probably bring him back to Locke, where all of his roots are deepest and his mission control center is. He'll have Willow Ridge outfitted as a makeshift hospital (very makeshift; think first aid kits, bandages, antiseptic and cots) and will encourage people to rest before throwing themselves into or back into the fray following an injury. He'll keep this up as long as he can while contributing to mission control, until Locke City's invasion and (presumably) the destruction of Willow Ridge, the teleporter, and everything else he's been working so hard on this last long while. I want evacuation to be a priority for him then as my way of being cute and showing that he's grown enough as a character to care more about getting people out safe than fretting over a stupid building and the archaic principle of going down with a ship. After that... trying his very best not to get killed, because life is precious, and if anyone needs a genius detective for the last last leg of the game, he's wide open as long as he can geographically get there (that teleporter can be used one. last. time. I'm sure.)

State of the character: Nathan is kind of recovering from the stress and trauma of being kidnapped be Cesar's doppelganger. He'll have had a breakdown by now, but he's gotten it over with and is actually doing okay; he's had some bonding time with his weird little adopted family. All things considered, he's still managed to build up a little bit of self-confidence and is a bit more willing to get actively involved in stuff now. He's been hacking into police and medical records or whatnot in regards to the deaths caused by that new cancer that's cropped up.
Plans: Nathan will be part of the crew that goes to Japan to try and reason with the government on the issue of whether to attack the Kappa. He would like them to not attack the Kappa, please. But in regard to all hell breaking loose, he'll be back in Locke because that's where his deepest attachment is and where he'll feel the most potentially useful. He'll be manning the computers and maybe providing a little medical help at Willow Ridge until it's no longer feasible. After that, he's going to be trying very hard not die. So not a fighter of any kind, Nathan.

Oh. And during the final battle, his doppel will in Germany of course . . . and be piloting one of the mobile suits Amy is providing. So that's a thing.

State of the character: He has spent most of his time in Locke managing Espresso Yourself and adopting parrots in need in a nod to his roots. He's in pretty good shape at the moment, and he's also just been to check out the giant mushroom.
Plans: I'll probably send him to Japan to poke around a bit, because his canon demands it. Torin will be transforming to his superhero alter ego of Kyoryu Silver and fighting the invaders with the aid of Bragigas, his robot dinosaur who will have his humanoid fighting form just in time for the finale. I don't really have too many plans beyond "GIANT ROBOT WHEEEEE" and so on and so forth.
