Giant Robot Check-In

Or things that are much LIKE giant robots.

So I figure it probably pertinent for those of us with freshly echoed giant robots/horrifying monstrosities/what have you to pick this discussion back up now that we're time-wise on the other side of Wise Snake.

What we do know is that the FBI will try to confiscate the Gundams/Evas to some capacity for the moment, but with the pilots still being able to oversee them, which is good since the Gundams and the Evas are locked to their pilots in one manner or another, but how is this to go about? That's mostly a mod question I'd suppose.

Really, I don't suppose any character is going to be in much of a position to stop the FBI from doing this for now, but if anyone is it'd probably be good to speak up~

As far as Neil is concerned, as the oldest of this motley crew of pilots, he's going to try and take some responsibility for the younger ones. (re: all of them) He would be trying ASAP to speak with the FBI and/or National Guard to try and leverage his military history and "hey we just saved the city" to get some cooperation. Which is the key thing - for right now, he's going to want to cooperate with the FBI if they're the ones overseeing the mecha.

But now that we've had some more experience with everything, does anyone else have any intentions? Plans? Figuring out where these weapons of mass destruction get shoved is probably vital for any of us doing much of anything, so it seems like a good thing to discuss!

thank you for this! now i know how to go about my post-snakening tags. (the image is get from this scenario is pretty boss. all the remaining mechas lined up in a ruined street, battle-scarred, spotlights shining on them, MAYBE A LIGHT DUSTING OF SNOW... don't mind me i think this is probably nick's fault.)

anyway, banagher will also stick around and cooperate. there'd be no point in him trying to run away for a few reaons: 1. there's no conceivable place to stash the unicorn that the FBI can't track down, and he's known that from the start, 2. he feels like he did the right thing with it, and he'll stick to his guns on that, 3. it requires fuel and energy and repairs he can't make himself, 4. if he doesn't cooperate, he's placing everyone who fought with him and the gundam during the fight + his general cr in a bad light.

while they're moving the mecha, he'll probably stick as close to neil as possible, and when separated for questioning, he'll probably be a little prickly, but not resistant to it. he'll outline the network's timeline and some general logistics, plus the police/military/thundercorp involvement. since he's been around since the start, he has pretty thorough tabs on everything.

he won't mind if they want to investigate the unicorn right away, knowing he has to be present. the only thing he might get dumb about is his right to have access to it. what he won't know is stuff like, who built it, what for, etc.

As long as the pilots are in good behavior, they shall be allowed access to the machines! (They probably need to go through some security check-in each time, but the FBI could make them badges to expedite the process in a week or two, assuming cooperative/good behavior.)

So after the initial questioning, agents will likely want the pilots to stay at one location (like an appropriated hotel or something) not only for their own track-keeping, but for these alleged claims of being targets. However, they will not force the issue. If the pilot wishes to go home, they may. They will, however, be followed and monitored by the FBI.

excellent, i was hoping for a security check-in process re: gundam visitation rights. and i don't think banagher will put up much of a fuss about having to stay at a hotel as long as he has somewhere to crash for a day. this may be dependent on what neil and eugen do too though. WHAT SAY YOU, PILOTS

though for ken -- EYY WILL STILL GOING DOWN TO THE BAR OR WHAT
